Lotto Hotpicks Overview
Launched in 2002, Lotto HotPicks is an alternative game related to the main draw. The prize structure has been updated a couple of times to reflect changes to Lotto but the essential elements of the game remain the same.
In order to enter, participants must first choose numbers from 1 to 59, this being the same range used in the regular Lotto draw. Then, they need to select how many numbers to match from one to five, with each line costing £1 to enter into a draw.
In order to win, you must match all of the numbers that you chose. For example, if you bought a Pick 3 ticket, you must match all three numbers to win the associated prize.
If you choose to enter the main Lotto draw as well, you do not have to use the same numbers for HotPicks.
Just like Lotto, there are two rounds per draw. Each line that you play is entered into both rounds.

Lotto HotPicks Prize and Odds Table
The Lotto HotPicks jackpot is fixed at £175,000. The top prize does not roll over or roll down in case it’s not won and there is one fixed prize for each option.
The following table shows all the odds and prizes. You must match all the numbers you pick to the numbers drawn in one round. For example, matching one number out of two in Round 1, and then matching one number in Round 2, does not count as a Match 2 win.
